Getting booted out of a rated chess game?

why do i get booted out when in the current game i'm the one winning in a rated game and then when it happens my opponent gets the winning credit?

Don't know.  Ive never had that happen.  You can get booted from unrated games but in rated ones, he shouldnt be able to boot you.  The only case in which they can do this is if you go to a table and another player has already started the side youre playing and abandonned the game.
