  1. I have braces so I'll answer your questions as best as i can...

~Well, to be honest, not really. You might feel a bit of pressure. Take a pain reliever before your appointment & it'll ease the sore-ness. On a scale of 1-10, the pain is about a 3 or 4 getting them on. When you get them tightened, ehh, it kinda hurts. Maybe a 6 or 7 on the pain scale.

~It depends on the person. Normally, you might notice a few changes in a couple months. By the time I had braces for 2 months, I noticed a couple of my bottom teeth were straighter & a slight change in my bite. Just minor things. It takes a year or two before they get where your orthodontist wants them to be.

~That usually takes 6-8 months, but like I said before, it depends on the person.

~Yes, some foods you need to stay away from. When you get your braces on, your ortho will give you a list on what foods you can't eat. Normally, you can't eat caramel, popcorn, ribs, or gum. Sometimes, your orthodontist might allow sugarless gum. Mine said I can't chew any gum. =[

I hope this answers everything. Good luck!! =]

  2. It depends on how your pain tolerance it. It hurt bad for me because of the fact i had 8 teeth including my wisdom teeth pulled 5 days before i was to get braces. Each person is different. I will have my braces on for 3 years. Well usually within a year or so the train track braces will not be train tracks anymore. Well for the first couple of days you will probably be eating soft foods. You are NOT allowed to have any caramel. Or hard stuff because it can break the brackets.

  3. I have braces. THEY DON'T HURT AT ALL! I cant even feel my braces. It depends on how bad your teeth are for how fast they look decent. My dentistdoesn'tt allow sticky food like gummies and gum or popcorn but everyone eats that anyways.

    Hope I helped!

  4. I had braces a while ago, and based on my own experience and my friends:1. They don't really hurt, untill you have to get them tightented. That still dosn't hurt too bad, just don't each hard food. 2.It can take anywhere from 1 year to 4 years. If your teeth aren't too bad, it will probably take 2 years. (That seems average for everyone I know)3.Limits to food is pretty much that they don't want you to eat hard or crunchy food (doritos, tortilla chips, popcorn) or soft sticky foods (gummy bears, caramel, gum, etc.) They should give you a list or magnet of what they "reccomend" you not to eat. Don't be freaked out though! Braces aren't bad and getting the colors added to your teeth is fun!

  5. The Pain Is Soo Annoying That You Want To Rip Them Out.

It Takes A Long Time Depends What The Person Has.

If You Have Crooked Teeth You Might Get A Expander To Straighten Your Teeth Or A Headgear.

Like Me I Have This Expander On The Top Of My Jaw Right Now It Help Me Alot Cuz My Teeth Were Really Crooked And Now There Really Straight And Its Awesome! XD

Oh Yeah I Had The Expander Like A Year Soo Yeah.

    Hope This Help :]

  6. i have had braces and have to get them again next tuesday!!! :[ yeah it hurts when they are done for a couple of days then when they tighten for a day or so no where near as bad when you get them... haha. i dont remember how long it took for them to look decent... yeah. you cant chew gum, no popcorn and stay away from chewy and gummy foods they will stick, not fun, i have experience with that!!! haha. what colors you gonna get, i am still debating on mine... :]
