Getting cable in my room...???

i already have the wires on my tv , but if i call the cable company to come and hook it up and drill the holes will they charge me monthly , becauseif i did it myself i wouldnt have yo pay monthly

what you said is true, they will charge you to run another tap out.

Most cable companies dont charge by the tap any more, they charge by the digital box rental.  you would still need the box if you want the digital/premium channels

what do you mean by you have the wires on the tv?

the wire is run already?

if you have a live cable jack somewhere else in the house, put a splitter there, and run the wire to your other tv, that would work. if you dont have the box though, you will only get the analog channels 2-70 or whatever.

as far as how the wire is actually installed, that depends on the quality of the job you want.. the best looking way is like an electrician through the walls, ceiling, basement etc.  the easy quick way is to run down hallways, out windows and back again. it all depends on how ghetto you willing to have it look...
