Getting caught after 9pm with a junior license in NY?

If you are 17 and have your full junior license in New York (and did not take drivers ed), you cannot drive after 9pm. What happens if you get caught by the cops after 9pm with your junior license?

Depending on your LUCK, you can just get a ticket or you can get a suspension.

I got a ticket when I was junior license (long time ago).  But I was warned that I could have gotten a suspension.
