Getting cavities while jaw is wired?

Hi. My jaw has been wired shut for 4 weeks.

I've been rinsing my mouth out with peridex

my right molar kind of hurts sometimes. i think its because i've been biting down too hard or something. im not sure

Has anybody had their jaw wired? Did you get cavities???

is it highly likely i will??
