  1. i wish i could help..

all i can tell you is .. once you go to europe.. they seem to slowly dissapear in your hand...

    everything's SO expensive..

just remember, if something costs like 5 euros.. it usually means like 9 bucks!

    might wanna go here :

    http://www.x-rates.com/calculator.html

  2. i am italian i advised wich better used small coins to 5, cents,10, cents, 20cents 50 cents, ,  1euro is greeback, 2 euro, 3 euro, 4 euro is coins , 5 euro is greenback, 10 euro greeback, 20 euro greenback, 50 euro greenback, 100 euro greenback, 200 euro greenback, 500 euro greenback. Is all  good luck to rome is fantastic city.  Yes in italy is very confortable use euro if you change dollar or pound. you can do

  3. Here this should get you started. At this point in time plan to loose approx. 30 US cents for every (one) euro you buy.

  4. Wow!   Enjoy.  !    Bon Voyage!

  5. I dont think calling people from Rome euros is politically correct.

As in "Hey euro, where can I get a good pizza around here?" You may offend although I may be wrong? Have fun in Rome.

  6. Dont' worry.  There's not much to learn.  Every euro dollar or coin has the value printed right on it.  When you purchase something, the sticker has the value printed on it.  You should familiarize yourself more with exchange rates.  Like $1.00 U.S. is only worth 70 cents in euros.  Our dollar is not worth too much over there so be prepared to spend more on everything.

  7. Try the Hotel Felice. www.hotelfelice.com

  8. Do you know how to use dollars?  If you do then you'll understand euros.  Dollars are worth less right now.  So, if you exchange $100 at the bank you'll receive about 75 euros.

  9. On the E.C.B. site you'll find everything you need to know about the currency, such as images of coins and banknotes, how to check of they are counterfeit, leaflets to print and so on. There is even a "Children's corner" to learn about the euro.
