Getting contacts this fallll....?

ok well my mom said that she will get me contacts.i have astigmatism (sp?).what would u guy s reccomend and stuff?im 12 going on 13 btw...

if you dont already go to an eye care specialist. i would reccomend that. they will probablly be better at telling you suggestions.. than most people on here would.

but there prolly going to perscribe a weighted contact. which will fit your eye for the astygmatism.  and teach you how to put them in and take them out. proper cleaning and what not.

basically just take care of them and keep your eyes clean. if you get contacts that are supposed to be used for a month.. you can get a little more use out of them and save a bit of money instead of getting a new box every six months..

I use regular acuvue disposible lenses. You can wear them for two weeks. Make sure to clean them and take them out every night..theyll last longer..and i also have freshlook green lenses..for color:)

Don't worry about it now. When you go to the eye doctors, they tell you whats  for your eyes, and answer any questions you have. Have fun with contacts!

i have contacts and i would get some if i were u. they may bother you the first couple days but it will ware off soon.

I have contacts AND astigmatism, so I have experience. I use Acuvue contacts for astigmatism. I would recommend this brand of contacts because they work well. Sometimes, you may get dry eyes, but eye drops should help, although I don't use eye drops.

Your eye doctor, however, will make the best recommendation in order to ensure the health of your eyes.

P.S. To clean your contacts, you put the contact in your hand, pour cleaner solution on it, and gently (they rip pretty easily) rub the contact with your index finger. (Make sure you wash your hands before doing this in order to stay infection-free).
