So when a person is getting deported, they must appear before a judge. I'm guessing those records are public, so.......... DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE THOSE RECORDS ARE KEPT?.....would it be the same as the court records from any criminal proceeding?

  1. It's not public record. It's a matter for INS (Immigration and Naturalization Service) which is a part of the Federal Government, not the public courts.

And no, they don't go to court, they get put on a bus or a plane or a ship back to their country with police escort. There is no trial. If they cannot prove citizenship or don't have a work/school visa or any other permit, they are shipped home.

The only trial that would take place was if they were convicted of a different crime and part of their sentencing was to be extradited.

Illegals are deported, legal citizens who are criminals are extradited.
