Getting dish network soon?

we are getting dish network pretty soon. i know there are some pros and cons to a dish during bad weather but its worth it. anyway, thats not the point. my point, or rather my question, is : if we get one box in the living room for 4 rooms, will the living room tv change the other three tvs also, and vice versa?

no, i think you need to recievers/boxes.  We got Dish about three years ago, and at that time one reciever was set-up for two of our TVs.  You get two remotes and each can control the TV seperatly.  I'm not sure how they do it now, but you might need another reciever for the other two tvs, but each tv would get its own remote and be able to change channel seperatly from the other three.
