I'm thinking of applying to join the police, and i need to get very fit on order to do so. I am already quite fit, but during the day i am normally at college, and now that its the summer holidays im working pretty much 6/7 days a week. So do you have any easy exercises that would help me achieve this?

Thanks XD

  1. WHY NOT ASKED A COMPETENT trainer from gyms not here, some of these people will give you advice but to them they say it is good but can these be applied to you OF COURSE NOT,  all people are not the same type, that exercise he is talking about is good to him but will it be good to you too unless you try it first. ASKED THE EXPERT.

  2. Start by slowing running or swimming. Just for like 20 minutes, then everyday/week/2 days etc, increase your time by 5 minutes or increase how far you run or how many laps you swim. Also get an excersise ball. There are workouts posted on youtube to help you out. Personally, I do sit ups and then a separate excersise with lifting the ball in the air with your ankles while doing crunches. Again, take it slow and easy at first and work up to something substantial. You could also get small weights and go jogging with those...even up and down the stairs would work great! I also have a hectic scheduale like you, but running and simple small excersises work your body very hard in a short amount of time.

  3. You could go to your Local Army Office and ask for a "Get Fit For The Army" plan. It gives you a step by step daily plan for you to get fit with. If you're fit enough for the Army you will easily be fit enough for the Police. I'm not sure what the Police BFT is but I'm sure it's not as hard as ours.

  4. i have a full time job and still make the gym five to six days a week
