Getting from Scarborough Town Centre to Markham and Nugget by bus?

From the STC bus station, which bus do I need to take to get to Markham and Nugget? Do I need to switch buses? If I want to get a transfer from the bus driver, do I have to pay with a token/ticket, or do they even get transfers to people who pay $2.75 with change?

  1. You'll need any of the #131 Nugget buses going eastbound. It should say "to Old Finch/Morningview" on the front of the bus.

You won't need to switch any buses to get to your destination. The 131 goes up McCowan, then makes a right traveling along Nugget, and eventually crosses Markham Road.

A transfer isn't really necessary for this trip, but it's always a good idea to carry one just to be prepared. Bus drivers give out transfers regardless if you pay by cash, ticket, or token. If you're starting at STC, you can get your transfer from the machines just inside the station's entrance.

    Hope this helps.

  2. go on the STC or TTC website and will give you all the information you need.  As long as you pay the fare regardless of what you use they will issue you a transfer.
