Getting girlfriends in gta 4 (ps3 version)?

How do you go on the internet (in the game) to get dates/girlfriends, do you do it through the phone? I have the ps3 version

I don't think there's a difference from PS3 and 360 but if you get further into the game, you will meet Michael, your first girlfriend. About the middle part of the game you will also be able to meet girls from online. Some like stuff more than others like cars, clothes, etc so make sure you wear what they like.
