Getting him to be more romantic?

I don't even know that he realizes it, but I'd like it so much if he were more spontaneous and romantic at times (he's been romantic a couple times before but that was in hi woo-ing stages, he knows that he has me now so he slowed down a bit). How do I hint this without offending him?

I'm not his rebound or his s*x girl, we love each other very much.

I don't not like him or want him to change bc he's not romantic, I just wish he would think away from the norm every once in a while, I know he's capable of doing it.

Every time he does something romantic make a HUGE deal about it, will let him know you really appreciate it.  I like to consider myself a little bit of a romantic but I have a hard time with my current g/f because she acts like she doesn't appreciate it.  then she complains I am not romantic lol, it works both ways

Men don't think like women.  Why don't you do something romantic for him and maybe he'll get the hint and reciprocate.
