im 17 and ive just completed secondary school in ireland. i got my results and ive done very well, the 4th best in my school :) as im not 18 til october id be taking a year or so out before i go to university anyway and living with my dad in england. im planning on filling that time by doing AS and A2s and, hopefully, getting all As as some of the subjects im doing ive alerady studied. if i do manage to, im planning on applying for cambridge, although my GSCE results weren't really good enough. i got 2 As but also a few Cs :S. do you think that since il have 2 sets of qualifications it might not matter? i really didnt try at all and i regret it soo much. im trying to find good things to put my personal statement as well. ive already found a job, got a voluntary job helping out at Beavers and ive volunteered for the schpol newspaper. i'm going to try and do all i physically can lol. do you think id have a chance?

  1. they would probably look at your A levels more, and your personal statement is REALLY important! Of course you still have a chance! Theres no real cut off boundary, as long as you show passion for whatever course you choose. Theres also an interview and an entrance exam...
