Getting ink out of clothes?

so, i was just folding some laundry and realized I had a pen in a pocket when i threw my laundry in the wash. now i have ink over a lot of my clothing... :( anyone know any secrets to get it out? they went through the wash and dryer...

spray with hair spray then wash it normally

My mother-in-law swears by rubbing Palmolive on the stain and boiling it in a pot on the stove.

As others have mentioned, hairspray works well--the alcohol in it dissolves the ink. Or you can use Isopropyl alcohol. Dab some onto the stains and launder.

Use hairspray (aeresol kind works best) to get it out!
