Getting into Pokemon TCG?

How much would it be roughly to get into Pokemon with a decent deck.

What do the price range(s) tend to get a tier 1 deck???

Woah, thats a tough question, my one cost about $250 because i bought heaps of booster packs and 2 decks, i managed to get an ex aswell. So i say around $250-500.
