Getting into the UCs? ?

Question

I was wondering what my chances were of getting into the UCs. Here are my credentials:

-I'm latina

-I live in California

-I am secretary of one club and publicity coordinator of another

-Freshman year I got a 4.33 GPA sec. semester. 1st semester I got a 4.0 (I took 2 hon. classes; the only ones available)

-Sophomore year I got a 4.5 GPA 1st semester and a 4.67 2nd semester (I took 3 hon. 1 AP class)

I am going into my junior year this year and plan on taking 3 APs and 3 honors and I still haven't taken the SAT.

I am also going to volunteer at the hospital too.

I'd say, that's pretty good so far. They look more at Soph+Junior year so keep up the good work this upcoming year. Do well on the SATs, keep your extracurriculars/grades up, and volunteer a lot.

Your a lock for almost all the UCs. Do well on the SATS. If you do that you you will get into the two hardest. UC Berkely and UCLA.

Keep it up. Think about applying to Stanford!
