Getting job in dubai as a 360 excavator driver??????

I want to leave Britain and move to Dubai to work. I have a ticket for a 360 excavator, does anyone know of ways to contact construction comanys over there, or is there a demand for Brits to move there for this kind of work.

My dad has a construction company and several of excavating cars. They often prefer to take Asians as drivers since their expected salary is much less and are often less expecting than westerns. I have never seen British people at such jobs and am sure unless you don't bring your salary expectance as low  as Asians do you would  never get a job

There will be more office jobs than something else.

most of the manual jobs are done by asians, as they are the only ones prepared to toil in the hot conditions 12 hrs a day 7 days a week which is what is demanded there and earn only a few  hundred pounds a month.   brits normally are at managerial or supervisory level.   there are some big companies there, wimpey, roberts (a south african company) bovis ( ithink cant be sure) SGB altho i think they are scaffolding, they are all in joint ventures with local companies so they have names like al futtaim wimpey, quebesi sgb etc.   u could try finding the uk branches of some of the companies operating there and see if they have any vacancies or try searching for their dubai contact details.  good luck.
