Getting kicked off the cheerleading team.....HELP!!!

Question

I recently got a butterfly tattoo on my lower back (about 3 inches big) and now my mates want me off the team because our cheering uniforms show our midrifts and lower backs....!!!???!!??!? Is this fair of unfair? They say my belly piercing is ok 'cause almost everybody has them but apparently my tat is too much...........

You should cover it with a bandaid or something whenever you have to wear your uniform

First off, according to ISHAA school standards no jewlrey is allowed on any member of a cheerleading squad. This is for major safety reasons, if you catch someone coming down in a cradle, or in a load in on a prep so to say and they rip the ring out, who's at fault? Schools will not want to take responsibility for your misfortune. I rec. having all belly buttons removed, and maybe putting a band aid over your tattoo.
