Getting laid off and want to go back to school...?

I am getting laid off in about 2-4 weeks. I am a single mom, so I have to work. I really would like ot go back to school though. Does anyone know of the financial aid or grants that California will provide to single moms?

I am a single mom too and I go to school. I live in San Diego County and the school I go to offer programs for single parents they give you school supplies and money for food (to use at the cafeteria) and money for books.

Food money is about $100 USD dollars a semester and money for books is $150 USD. This program is called EOPS/CARE Program. Also apply for FAFSA. That is financial aid. Most schools also offer child care programs from ages 3-5 years I believe. Maybe  older maybe younger.
