1) If you had to compare how painful it was for you - I do understand each person is different - what would you say it was like?

2) How long did/does it take to do both legs fully?

3) Has anybody ever gotten a reaction from it? My skin is sensitive, which is why I can't shave anymore. Did it bleed after? Bumps? Anything?

4) Approx. how much will that cost (I live in Nyc)?

  1. 1. The first few pulls, it's kind of like ripping off a giant band-aid.  After that your histamines kick in and the pain dulls.

    2. Upper thigh to feet, no more than an hour.  Knees to feet, no more than 30 min.

    3. Whwn I was young and stupid I drank a little too much wine and decided that was the perfect time to wax, I bled everywhere.  Every other time, no.  I also have really sensitive skin.  The only time you are likely to bleed in doing the underarms or bikini the first time because those hairs are deeper.  Even then it's just pinpoint bleeding.  If you have a reaction, you're probably allergic to the wax.

    4. $30-$100 depending on the spa/how much leg you want waxed

  2. You shouldn't get your legs WAXED. If you do, especially since you have sensitive skin, your skin may get very irritated and red after wards. I did some self-wax for my eyebrows, and it didn't hurt, but it still turned red. I was curious one day and tried waxing my legs, but it was not successful. I suggest shaving. I also have very sensitive skin, but I use Skinimate shaving cream and a Venus shaving razor. The Skintimate shaving cream adds moisture to your leg and it works fine with me.
