  1. I really like the idea of sending flowers to each of her locations that day, but mix it up a little. Maybe flowers one place a singing telegram to anouther. It will constantanly remind her how wonderful you are and how much she wants to marry you. This in turn should help with that pre wedding cold feet thing :D

  2. Show up with women's genitalia.

  3. Well, you can buy something that she has been looking at for awhile. On the morning of our wedding, my husband to be had my father-in-law deliver these earrings I had wanted. It was like perfect timing because I was just getting ready to leave, and he walked in and handed me the bag. The note made me cry, so I was trying to fan the tears so that I wouldn't mess up my make-up. It was just the fact that he had remembered after all of that time.

You can sing to her during the reception. She will be flattered because of the effort that you put into it. It's romantic and humorous at the same time. You can like put a chair in the middle of the dance floor and have her sit down. Grab the mic and go for it.

Do something that you wouldn't ordinarily do. Like if you don't dance, do a dance with your groomsmen or something like that.

Also, you can send her a basket with her favorite foods the morning of the wedding. It's the little things that ultimately touch the heart the most.

  4. Make her a scrapbook all about you guys, name a star after her, send her lots of flowers, buy her some jewelry. I think something that comes from your heart means the most...Good luck!

  5. You could go love actually style and have a surprise musical item at the end of the ceremony, involving some of the guests!

I like the idea of sending roses and one silk rose with a note saying 'i'll love you til the last one dies'.

You could leave her a note before the wedding telling her how you can't wait to get married etc etc, you'll know what to say.

You could have a slideshow of photos of your life together up until your wedding and have a song playing during it that's special to the two of you. Play the slideshow at the reception.

Or you could make a scrapbook using photos and mementos from your relationship.

My partner is a muso so I'd love for him to surprise me with a song at the reception along with the band. He's especially talented as a writer so having him write me a song would be just so wonderful.

Anything would be nice really, just because he's gone to an effort to make me happy would make my heart melt.

  6. propose a toast to your bride at the reception. tell everyone how she has made this the happiest day of your life :)

p.s. i LOVE the other girls' ideas of sending flowers to all the places she will be, and the boquet of roses with the note.

if you are having the reception right after the ceremony, tell your guests to go to the reception site and have wine or drinks waiting for them. meanwhile, suprise your wife and take her to a park or somewhere for a "breather". go somewhere for a bit, just to be alone together. to let everything sink in- a couple that i know, went and rode a carousel before they came to the reception. the photographer followed them and got some great pictures. this would be a great time to give her that boquet of roses.  :)

  7. Get your best man to drop off a basket to her on the morning of the wedding. Include a card telling her how much you are looking forward to marrying her etc. You could fill the basket with things she loves or that she can snack on with her bridesmaids- chocolates, berries, cheese, champagne, a photo of you when you first started seeing each other, flowers or whatever it is you think she will love.

  8. How much do you want to spend???

Send flowers to every place she will be that day (home, salon, wedding site, reception site, hotel)

Buy her a piece of jewelry! (something blue!)

Do you sing or play a musical instrument?  Talk to the person performing the ceremony and work in a special, surprise performance!  If not during the ceremony, what about at the reception?

  9. Are you staying at a fancy hotel?

If not then find the best honeymoon suite around or a totally romantic bed and breakfast.

Make sure to order breakfast in bed with flowers and maybe even a spa treatment for the next morning.

And don't forget to carry her across the threshold!

Are you leaving in a limo?

If not rent a horse and carriage or nifty convertible to take you to your hotel.

I remember my wedding night much better than my wedding day.

  10. buy a dozen red roses and one silk rose.  put the silk rose in with the bouquet and leave it with this note:

"i'll love you til the last one dies."

  11. If you happened to record you preposal you could show the footage.

find a poem that tells her how you feel about her and recite it.

buy her a puppy or kitten, you cant go wrong there.

  12. Romantic

A wonderful and unique gift is an album filled with photos of the 2 of you through out your relationship. Collect any good pictures you can find and leave loving comments on each page. A lot of women would appreciate the effort put into it and it would not be very expensive. Maybe you could get one of your friends to help. You could even speak to your mother and hers to add pics of the 2 of you as children.

    Humorous

Make up ownership papers with some sort of silly contract to be signed at the reception. Or adoption papers for your heart with special care instructions.

You could also get all of the grooms men to bow and present her with roses as she enters the alter area. This would be very unexpected and romantic.

A good funny song to have played at the reception as a surprise is the song Grow old with you by Adam Sandler from the movie the wedding singer.  Here is a link to the song so you can hear it!
