  1. I think U REALLY need to think about this and do something else with ur life besides get married right now.

  2. Get a job and save your money, until you can pay for your wedding.

That way, your parents won't feel as though they didn't get their money's worth, when (2 kids and 3 years later) you get a divorce, which they will have to pay for, as well.

Of course, they will be happy to have you and the children live them, since you won't be able to afford a place of your own on minimum wage.

I apologize, if I offended you with my comment, but I think you should wait, until you are a few years older.

Enjoy the remainder of your teen years. Once they're over, you can not get them back.

Find a part-time job and take some classes at a nearby community college or technical school.

Cultivate new friends but don't forget about your old friends.

Save your money for a vacation in Washington, D.C., or Philadelphia, or New York City, or even England, with a group of friends.

Budget your paycheck, so you can buy a new outfit every 2 or 3 months.

If you're really in love, waiting a few more years will not change that!

Don't overlook an opportunity to have a better life and a stronger marriage. Your children will appreciate having a more stable home.

  3. You should go to your local courthouse and they will give you the paperwork that needs to be completed for an underage marriage.

With that said, I think you should consider.

Marriage is an extremely serious vow not to be taken lightly.  It's more than just setting up shop and playing house.  There are some things you just can't handle at 17--physically, mentally, emotionally, and financially (!!).  While I can completely relate to being in love and wanting to plan the rest of your life with a person, it's way more complicated than that.  And if you're so in love now, imagine how much MORE in love you'll be 5-6 years from now?  It'll make the vows that much more important.  You have a big life ahead of you and there's no use in throwing yourself into a marriage.  Wait it out, friend.

(And contrary to some of the above answerers, 21 is also too young to be married)

  4. You need to be atleast 18 to get married WITHOUT parental consent in ANY STATE. However with Parental consent at 14 you can get married in Nebraska...

However my best advice is for you to graduated HS, go to college and get a steady job. I get married next sunday at 21. It's HARD!! VERY HARD!

I did go to college and so did he. We both work but Starting a life together is hard at first and add Money problems and your young age, it will even be harder.

  5. you will still need parental consent, I believe both parents (if both are still alive) will need to sign a document realeasing you from them and giving you permission to make this decision

  6. Yes. If you are over 16 but under 18, you must get parental consent.

  7. It depends on the law in your state. Here in Mo., If you're under 18 you need parental consent. However, you seem really young. Make sure this is something you really want for years to come.

  8. yes you need parental consent because you are still a minor

  9. dont do this

  10. dont do it!

    your life will be ruined

thats almost as bad as getting someone prego

  11. i think so but 2 legally marry by urslef is 18.... u shuldn't at that young

  12. You should just get engaged. For a while to see how it works out. Cause getting married so young you will most likely get divorced.

But if you both are under 18 both partents need to be there to sign.

  13. Try and wait.  What's the rush.  You have soo much time to get married later on.  Enjoy your teens and early twenties.  You will change between now and age 23.

  14. Yes, you will need parental consent, which should tell you something. When you still need parental permission, you simply aren't ready. What's wrong with 18?
