Getting married at Margaritta island Venezuela ?

Question

We would like to get married at Margarita Island.

I was picturing a location near the beach but more like a tropical garden with lots of palm trees and plants and lots of tropical flowers like orchids etc. not just plain at the beach :)

We would like to get married during sunset and maybe have a couple fire torches or similliar.

We will have around 40 Guests and it will be the ceremony at sunset, dinner and celebration.

I will work out details later.

We just wanted to know if its possible to get married in this kinda location.

Of course you can do it, you have to take care of the details, but there's not a law against that. In Margarita, there are businesses that will help you to organize that.

Just one thing: the legal marriage (marriage license, paper work) in Venezuela is different from the religious/spiritual/etc ceremony. You can do the papers "civil marriage" (marriage license) in the beach, requesting a legal officer and paying a fee; or you can do it in the local government office and make the religious/spiritual/personal/etc ceremony in the beach.

I would say it is possible. Mosquito Coast Bar/Grill has a large area out back. Unfortunately I can't come up with the owner's contact. Sorry.

You may also be able to get one of the exclusive resorts to provide you some arrangements. There are a couple pretty nice resorts. Another link is below.

And if you want a wedding on San Andres Island, Colombia in the caribbean, check the last weblink out. They do pretty much Las Vegas style weddings. They have a nice hotel resort there on a hill with plants and trees overlooking the most beautiful 7 shades of blue of the caribbean. Safe and relatively cheap. I used to live there.
