My fiancees family is totally white trash! I don't want them embarrassing me at my wedding by either getting trashed or smoking pot out in the parking lot or wearing something that it totally inappropriate like purple pants or walking around in an unbuttoned shirt with his wife-beater hanging out & then I have to have those pictures circulating for eternity! Is this so wrong of me?

  1. I feel, personally, large weddings are a big waste of money & a big business. So save money, headaches and embarrassment.  It's your day it should be exactly the way you want it.  Small, intimate weddings are nice, eloping is great too.  Who cares, as long as you are both in love and know what you want, that is what matters most.:)

  2. No, not at all! any typical bride would want her day to be a dream day with nice looking people that will compliment your wedding photos. I would say go somewhere FAR and expensive, since you say his family is white trash I am pretty sure they cannot afford a destination trip, and have a really small wedding there with family that will respect you and your fiancees wishes.

  3. Just remember that this family who embarrasses you so much is about to become your family.

  4. remember it is his wedding too

  5. You should tell you fiancees -----

  6. No purple pants! Awwwww...

    Elope!

Have a destination wedding in a place none of them has ever heard of!

Whatever you do, ditch them for your wedding day.

  7. You should elope! Just the two of you to some island. It would be romantic, and you wouldnt have to worry about anyone smoking up at the party!

  8. most important thing to remember it's your wedding day so the choose   big or small.

  9. just ask your husband what we should do

  10. Remember - they'll soon be your family. So, if his family is "white trash," then so is your boyfriend. You can dictate what kind of attire is acceptable, or you can get hitched at the court house like white trash usually does.

  11. Unless you husband agrees with your estimation of his family and wants to sever all ties with them, then these people will soon be YOUR relatives. Get used to the idea of sharing holidays and birthdays and sunday dinners with them or else find yourself a different husband with relatives who meet your standards.
