  1. Jamaica is a wonderful place to get married. I am a party planner and did a wedding there in January and my clients loved it.

I have been six times with both my kids who are now 16 and 2. They love the people, the food, the culture, the sites, the smell, everything about it.

With kids I would suggest a family friendly resort or a resort with a nanny.

    Family Friendly mid to budget:

    Starfish Trelawny

    Sunset Grande Ochos Rios

    Holiday Inn Sunspree

    Family Friendly high-end:

    Beaches Sandy Bay

    Beaches Negril

    Nanny resorts:

    FDR Pebbles

    Franklin D.

Jamaica is a nice place for children, but your overall experience depends on which resort you stay at and what activities you will participate in. The kids are young so try booking a hotel that has nanny services.

  3. I got married in Jamaica but hey, I'm a Jamaican living in Jamaica so nothing special 'bout that.  I would recommend Beaches Resorts because they are family-friendly with nanny services. I believe Sesame Street characters are also there full-time.  Also, they offer wedding services (WeddingMoons, I think) and have coordinators onsite.  Check out their website www.sandals.com.

You may also be interested in the Breezes Resorts (SuperClubs - also all-inclusive), FDR Resort and FDR Pebbles (actually called Franklyn D Resorts; these are on the North Coast).  Family friendly!
