what is the procedure for an Australian guy to get married to a girl from a foreign country?

Just go to her country or which ever country you guys decide to get marry in and get a marriage lincense. From there get whoever pastor to marry you guys.

If you are an australian you will most likely marry and Indonesian and I would say do not do this. you will have nothing but problems. But you will most likely do what you want. But know you asked and those of us told you.

Why are there no women in Australia that would want to marry YOU? So you need to use the a#s pock$$$$$ personality to find a wife? Just asking you put it on line.

contact your goverment, you will need aplication firms for family reunion and whatnot

different rules for different countries, like in US you automaticaly can stick around if you marry an US citizen etc

so best shot is contacting your local authorities and get some help on finding the info
