I downloaded iTunes and LimeWire a month ago using the shared file and using iTunes to play it. I accidentally uninstalled QuickTime so iTunes wasn't working to play shared files from LimeWire....So I uninstalled iTunes and re-installed (or downloaded) together with QuickTime.....Now for some reason, it's giving me the above msg. Can anyone tell me what's happening or what version or iTunes do I need for it to be compatible w/Limewire. Please let me know if you're familiar with the problem. Thank you for helping.

  1. okay

what i did exactly was on limewire at the top, click the tab that says "library" then i pressed "enqueue" for every song in my library. they show up in a list underneath the options row thhas "enqueue" in it. then press "save as" when your finished putting all of your songs down there. save it under "iTunes". Then open your iTunes, and click "file" then "import.." Go to "music" then whatever you saved you limewire songs as. if u dnt hav the "music" option, you may hav to look around in your files a little. when you find it, just select it and it will have all of the songs show up in your "music" section for your ipod.

hope it works out for you too!! =]

  2. just change the itunes folder to my music or something and take the music you want from the folder titled "limewire tunes" and put it in my music. that should fix the problem. I personally moded my ipod and put rockbox on it so i dont have to deal with itunes. i just drag and drop. if your good with computers and are interested http://www.rockbox.org/
