  1. I had my belly button piecred it wasn't really sore when i got it done (but everyone are different) but it hurts when studo rubs with your jeans button, but once u get it done, they will put patch on it for couple of days, but clean it regularly, the shop will give u clean stuff to clean. Think it has to be 16 years old.. my eyebrow piecred is more sorer than my belly button

When i got pregnant, I had materitly studo for my bump but took it out for couple of months when i had baby, the hole were still opened its probably i had it for years

Edit: forgot to mention, make sure the shop are very clean piecring needles are sealed and they use rubber gloves

  2. You have to be sixteen to get it done without a parent. If I were you though I would not get it done, it is apparently the worse place to get a piercing. It causes THE MOST complications (like diseases and that) out of most piercings, and is bad if you ever wish to get pregnant in the future. Hope you make the right choice! Good luck if you do get it done.

  3. Your parents have to sign for you unless you're 18.

& rigth after you get it done is is red, but after a day or two the red goes down and then you just have to keep it clean to make sure it doesn't get infected.

  4. a few friends have had there bellies pierced and were fine

another friend didn't go so well.

just remember to clean it daily however boring it gets!

i think you have to be 16 without parental permission.

as long as you take someone 18 or over who'll sign the permission form

    you'll be fine

its not painful, they freeze the skin where you have it done

    good luck

    xx

  5. Everyone's pain threshold is different, but mine is REALLY low and on a scale of 1-10 it hurt about a 2.

Are you U.S or UK? From what I've read on this, you have to be 16 in the U.S, but in the UK I think it's 14 with a guardian with you, I was 14.

Just clean it with boiling salt water for the first few months until it stops weeping and being red/sore.

It will itch at some point, but don't scratch it, and it'll be fine, it's normal.

Don't fiddle with it, and definitely don't change it for 2-3 months and it'll be fine. =)

  6. im pretty sure you have to be at least 15 or 16 cause then your body is doing growing and if your under 15 or 16 they tell you to wait cause it can change position and grow out!

when i got mine done honestly i didn't feel anything the clamps are my favorite part in getting pierced! i never felt the needle going through my skin and i never felt the curved bar bell going through my skin and 6 months to a yr its healed.

when i got mine done it wasn't sore at all, no redness and no after pain it felt like it wasn't even there i had to check a few times to see if it was still there. all they do it the tell you to left up your shirt and they feel around to see if you had it done and scar tissue, and then they mark you with a purple marker and then they put clamps on you with to hold it there they put a gumband around it, then they pierce your navel with an 14g needle and then they put the curved bar bell through your skin and they they put the bottom ball on cause the top is already on i think and it takes like 30 sec i think and after that your done.

when you get a shower get dove soap and get a rag and soap up a rag and then squeeze it out on your stomach and push up and down so the soap goes in the hole and then let clean after hit it and push up and down and then your done.

  7. It didn't hurt me at all when i got mine done, however it did hurt afterwards if my clothes pulled down on the top of it (if you have it done you will see what i mean, hard to explain)

It took a year for it to heal completely and for me to be able to change the bar without any problems, but it was fully worth the wait, i have had it for 7 years now and love it - my stomach would look strange without it now.

Mine never got infected, i think if you follow the cleaning instructions given by the piercer and then leave it alone, don't touch or fiddle with it, or try and change the bar too early, it will be fine.

Make sure you go somewhere that is clean and you have recommendations for..

i don't know what you will do, but i advise you to go on your own or with a "calm"" friend who wont wind you up as it helps to be calm and less tense....i promise you it didn't hurt me, but everyone is different.

    Good Luck!!

  8. is this your first piercing?  i dunno bout you  but i know wit me and numerous people..  i cant do surface piercings. they reject out. ive had my eyebrow done and my nipples  and neither would heal. those are both surface piercings. ive always wanted my belly button pierced but i know i prolly couldnt do it. and  by the way..  everyone and there mom has there belly buttons pierced. why dont you think out of the box and get something else done. if you want something on your tummy   i honestly recommend a microdermal. it sounds horrible..  but its where they poke a tiny hole in your skin and insert a verrrry tiny metal plate that has a stud on one end and shows above the skin. this allows there to only be one stud. which in my opinion.. looks pretty cool! and they dont reject out.   if i didnt explain this good enough --- google MICRODERMAL

  9. You have to be 16 by law but you can have it done with parents consent but they will have to be present when it is done. visit www.londonpiercingclinic.co.uk for further info

  10. It does hurt yes

they clamp your belly with a tongue then push the needle through

    its a sharp pinch

then its sore for a week or so after

don't wear tight clothes once you've had it done as it can pull and cause pain

you have to be sixteen without parental conset

don't get it done at a beauty salon make sure there a qualified piercer

i would leave it in for 2 months plus

but it can take up to a year to heal properly

if they don't tell you what to clean it with ordon'tt give you cleaningsolutionn then clean it with salt water twice a day

don'tt go swimming while its healing it could get infected

make sure the bar ititaniumum osilverer or hypoallergenicic metal

    should cost 20-25 pounds

  11. I had it done and I don't think it hurt all that much, but it really needs a lot of care. Mine got infected and then later, my body rejected the ring and the skin outside finally melted off in the bath and all I have left is a scar.

  12. make sure you are really committed to getting your belly button pierced before you get it done. it is the most prone to infection becase of the placement. your stomach is the core of your body , and does a lot of movement. the piercing process doesn't hurt too bad, the healing process hurts more. you have to make sure to clean it well , but don't over clean. i would reccommend using H2Ocean , which you piercer should have available to you. If you are under 18, you must have your parent(s) sign a slip saying you can get it done. Some places (the safer places to get it done) will not allow you to get pierced, even with your parents there, if you are under 16.

.. to lisa's response : the belly button isn't the most dangerous place to get a piercing (diseases , etc) the tounge is.

  13. i have mine done.. you have to be sixteen and have parental permission/... i did not think it hurt at al... but i thought none of my ear piercings did either and iv 6 of those lol!!

the needle will go through your belly frm top to bottom and the piercing is attache and brought back through... it pinches at the start but there is no extreme pain!! be sure you keep it very clean afterwards too!! enjoy! x*x

  14. well in the US it 18 without a adult but we can really get it done once we hit 16.  And it is one of the saver places to get done.  just if u cant wear silver make sure u get a different ring.

  15. ewwwww no don't

my relative had it done then it got infected and it turned nasty dont do it!
