Getting my Cartlidge pirced?

Question

Ive been thinking about it wheres the best place to do it? like Claire's or a tattoo shop. any info on tattoos and nose piercing would be help full too. please don't be rude. =] thanks a bunch. btw I'm 14. and yes i know I'm too young for nose rings and tattoos but I'm getting them eventually.

my dad owns a piercing shop.....

dont go to claires...go to a tatto/piercing shop...ask and make sure their licensed and they use sterile equipment....USE A NEEDLE...if u use a gun, youll get this big bump called a keeloid...its really ugly...needles are way more safer

don't ever get your piercing frum claires.  and i think you should get a nose ring. it would look very pretty. =]

DONT go to Claires. They're not clean at all. Go to a Tattoo Shop, but do some research and make sure they're clean and certified. Also, I suggest you dont use a gun, you use a needle. My mom and I both got ours done. She used the gun and I used the needle. Mine is fine, but her cartilidge shattered because of the gun. BE CAREFUL!

I got my ears done at Claires TWO times and I had NO problems with it.

You can go to Icings, Clairs, or any other licensted tattoo and peircing place. You will need someone whos 18 or older to sign for you too.

Nose piercings are awesome! I have one. Its painless too.

ummmm dont go to Claires or piercing pagoda or any place that pierces with a gun

a gun forces ablunt stud through your ear causing tissue trama as well as shatering of the cartilage and a greater risk of infection

go to a tattoo shop around your area

call first and ask how old you have to be w/ parental consent

because the place i went to to get my cartilage pierced you had to be 16 even with parental consent

but i know there are places that do it if you are 14

hi! i got my cartilage pierced like four times and every time i got them pierced with a gun and i got bumps on the back of my ear because the gun just pushed the cartilage aside. i suggest going to a tattoo parlor and getting it pierced with a needle..it sounds more painful but you wont get the bump and it will be worth it. if you do get it done with a gun make sure its sterile and you choose good earrings..14k gold is one of the best for your ears.

As for the nose piercing..

i just got mine done a in june. i love it. its definitely worth getting done but make sure you reallllllly want one first. get it pierced at a tattoo parlor. they will use a needle but its really not that painful at all, the most painful part was switching from needle to ring and that was more uncomfortable. Anyways, make sure you clean it every day. there are many things you can use to clean it. The tattoo place will most likely offer you H2Ocean cleaning spray-buy it, use it. It works great. follow their instructions! do not irritate the piercing-i did a few times because i just forgot i had it and i got a bump under it but it goes away-just keep cleaning it and don't touch it!
