Getting my cartilage pierced?

Question

I was thinking about getting my cartilage pierced tomorrow. Just wondering, on a scale of 1-10, how bad does it hurt? And does it hurt worse with a needle or with a gun? Piercing Pagoda or Claires?

I'm almost 17 so I can handle it, I just wanna know what I'm getting into. Thanks!

hmm i just got my cartilage done yesturday. im 16. and my friend did it for me. it barely hurt so from a scale of one to ten i would say 2. It just kinda burns after.
