Getting my ears pierced?

yo im getting my ears pierced tomorrow and i just wanted to ask im getting it done at walmart is it safe because i dont want to get transmitted diseases or anything like that and also does it hurt to get your ears pierced i know walmart uses a piercing gun but is it safe.

well i know it doesn't hurt because i have my belly pierced and that really didn't hurt and i have my ears pierced too but i got it when i was a baby

yea walmart is the best place to get it

unless you wanna go to claires they are good too

it'll be fine. guns use the earring itself to pierce your ear so there is no way to get diseases from someone else cause your the first person to use those earrings

Definitely no diseases if you do it a Walmart or Clair's or any legit place, they use a different needle for each person . And it barely hurts I hardly felt it when I got mine and it's SO fun to have them pierced!!!

If it's at a place like Wal-Mart or a well known place, then it should be safe. I would go to a piercing parlor, but if Wal-Mart's your only alternative then it'll work. Just make sure they clean the gun & wear gloves.

It's highly possible to get bacterial infections and such from piercing guns used at retail stores.  Piercing guns cannot be thoroughly sterilized.  When you pierce someone with the gun there's this thing called backspray where a very fine spray of blood and skin is misted all over and in some parts of the gun.  After one person is pierced, then the swab it with alcohol before they pierce the next person.  That's it.  Alcohol cannot kill every organism that would be on the gun.  So when the next person comes along they're basically having another person's blood and such punched through their ear.  That's like sharing a needle with a stranger.  Would you do that?

It's a little more costly to get your ears pierced by a professional at a shop, but it's worth it.  You're less likely to get infection, the healing time will be shorter, and the person doing it is a professional, not some kid making minimum wage.

i had my ears pierced with both needles and piercing guns. honestly i prefer the needles. it hurts less

you may want to re think piercing your ears with a gun, i dont want to scare you but they have been known to get stuck so your ear is being pinched until they pry it loose. also they rip your ear lobe (not big, like on a microscopic level) so your ear hurts. theyre just not that great.

when i got my ears pierced with a gun, it felt like being pinched and then it was really hot for a couple hours, sorta like a bad bad sunburn but only where your ears were pierced.

with a needle, i doesnt hurt after at all, and it hurts no more than if a gun was used when theyre making the acutal hole in your ear.

but honestly if you just keep them nice and clean you'll be fine =)
