Question:

Getting my eyebrows waxed before a job interview.?

I have a job interview at 3:30 tomorrow and I'm going to make a stop by the JC Penney salon early (by several hours) so I can have my brow wax. After my brow wax, it's usually a little red in that area.

Do you think the redness will go away by the afternoon?

NOTE: After some thought, I'm putting this in the "beauty" category because it addresses the issue of cosmetics more than going for a job interview.

  1. If it is red, take some skin color concealer and just rub around it...simply put some makeup on the area.

  2. i would just pluck the visible hairs. you would think the place you're being interviewed wouldn't be looking at your eyebrows. get them down after wards :)

  3. my opinion is you should probably wait after the interview because you dont want to show up with your eyebrow area red.it leaves a weird impression. they would be too busy looking at your eyebrow then focusing on your answers.lol

  4. I say go for it. Especially if you are experienced in your waxing routine, your skin is probably used to the abuse of waxing, and recovers in minutes not hours. So you should be safe. Also, I use JC Pennys and the stylists have access to a calming cream, if your waxer doesn't use it, go ahead and ask if they have any. It feels cool, kindof like peppermint, but i think it helps.

    hope i helped!

    good luck at your interview!

  5. The reddness will be gone by tomorrows interview. Go for it.
