Getting my first tattoo ?

im 13 , turning 14 in november . my mom is willing to let me have a tattoo in the next few years, just like a small one on my waist. i live in newfoundland, canada, and i was wondering what the legal age for getting a tattoo is here with parental guidance? im planning on getting something small. and i want it done by a professional. thanks, and would it hurt alott ?

almost all tattoo shops don't let you get one until your 18, if your lucky enough to find a shop that will do it younger i believe it is 16.

WITH parental consent, btw your parent has to be there when you book your appointment.

15 is the age I think. It feels like a shot to me. Ask your mom to call some shops. I have a 13 year old cousin and she got one with her mom she was (10) IDK where though. It really depends on the place and the laws for that state. Your mom rocks. Well, IDK it is all your choice. But, think about it because tatoo removel does hurt 20x worse!

Call the tattoo shops and ask them what the legal age is with parental consent.

Usually it is 16.

But I do not recommend it since you're still growing and your skin will stretch and your tattoo may get ruined.

It's your choice though.
