Getting my hair cut tomorrow...?

Question

And I'm not sure how to have it cut...

My hair's past my shoulders, currently in a complete lack of any style, naturally straight and.... I don't know what other details you might need.

Any pictures or ideas would be great thanks. :)

I was thinking lots of layers, a couple of inches off and a big side-fringe...

My face is kind of heart shaped I guess...

Just any ideas as to what would suit me would be cool.

It all depends if your face is round, square, thin or oval shaped. The way to find out is to get a piece of wet soap, look in a mirror, and make a dot at the top of your forehead, the bottom of your chin, and the sides of your face. Connect the dots. Also make dots at features that stick out, e.g. the sides of your jaw.

Square:

Choose a hairstyle with long layers. Hair should be parted at the side of the head and any fringe should be combed back.

Round:

Choose a style with a short fringe and a short cut.

Oval:

Choose any style you wish.

Long:

Choose short layers, or a bob with a fringe.

Do the mirror/soap experiment, you may be surprised.
