  1. Congratulations!!!!! Get it done the day of the wedding. Nothing like a fresh hair do.

  2. April a dry run is best for you and the stylist. That way if you look like a crack addict poodle a week before your wedding that gives you 6 days to hide the body of the 1st stylist and look for a replacement to fix it. Good Luck on your big day

  3. Try it out about one to two weeks prior just to make sure you like what you see. Then, get it done the day of the wedding.

  4. I would definitely recommend getting it done, as a trial run, before the wedding, so you know what it's going to look like.  A friend of mine had her hair done the day of the wedding without having done a trial run- and she absolutely hated it.  Luckily one of the other bridesmaids was able to fix it for her- but definitely go for a run through.

    Congrats!

  5. I would definitely recommend that you get your hair done before the wedding as well as your makeup. It will give you a chance to change anything that you don't like. The last thing you want is to not be happy the day of the wedding with your hair or makeup.

  6. Yes, usually when you talk to a hair stylist they will sugguest you come in a couple days before the wedding to do a trial run. You need to make sure that you LOVE your hairstyle- and doing a trial before the wedding will probably make you a lot less stressed the day of the wedding, since you know what to expect :)

  7. YES!  Absolutely!  I just had my practice updo for my wedding that's on the 16th.  I'm so glad that I did!  I thought that I wanted it one way and actually I liked it better another.  My stylist didn't even charge me as a complimentary service.  Make an appointment and best wishes!

  8. You don't HAVE to do it before your wedding but...

I WOULD definitely do some trial runs... even if you are getting married out of state or the area... when you get something done that you like, either take lots of pictures of your finished style or look through some books or google wedding styles or wedding updos and print some pics that way and bring them with you.

But I would definitely MAKE the time to do this, even if you only have a couple/few days before your reception to go for a trial run. ESPECIALLY if you're going somewhere that you've never been before. You really don't want to run the risk of looking like the bride of Frankenstein, lol.... and that way, your stylist has the chance to figure out how to put on or work in your veil/headpiece, too! (yes, you should bring this with you to any trial runs as well!!!)

    Good luck!
