Getting off BC, how long till I can get pregnant?

I was on Ortho Evra for 10 months and switched to Loestrin 24 Fe and was on that for about a week and a half, when my husband and I decided we want to start our family now. Does anyone know how long after being on these birth controls it might take to get pregnant?

It could happen as soon as this month, but the recommended time is about 3 months, just so the hormones have time to get out of you.  I say try, and if it happens it happens!

I was taking Loestrin 24 Fe up until September 30, 2007 and i got pregnant December 7 or 8, 2007. So not too long. 2 months.

i had been on birth control since i was 14 due to endometrosis i was ortho evra patch, nuva ring, loestrin 24  something called necon and fianlly on yasmin. when me and my husband decided to TTC i was off my BC for about a month and got pregnant. i pretty sure once it is out of your system you can concieve. i was on it for 7 years straight and pregnant right away. I got pregnant after skipping 2 pills once and another time the first month after stopping BC, so it is different for everone.

you will begin to ovulate within the first couple of months but it may take up to one year for any normal couple to conceive.  that has nothing to do with the pill, BTW, that is just the statistics
