That plane that crashed in Spain, crashed during it's second takeoff attempt. My question is: if someone wants to get off of the plane after the first aborted takeoff, do they let people do that? I don't know about you, but i would probably get thrown off because of the scene i would make.

  1. That would depend on the airline as well as if you were on the runway ready to take off.

I don't think that they would allow you to get off.

  2. If an airliner aborts a takeoff and returns to the blocks for a maintenance check, it will depend on what the ground crew tells the driver on how long it will take to repair. If passengers are disembarked, you could refuse to get back on board. No problem. If everybody is kept on board and you don't want to be there, you'd have to create a fuss and demand to be let off. You would probably be accommodated, but then you would more than likely be arrested for interferring with a flight crew. Problem.

  3. The first takeoff was not that; the plane possibly did not even left the finger, and if it did, it also did not make it to the ramp. A malfunction was detected and the plane returned for checking it. Most probably passengers were not provided the opportunity to de-plane and most probably, considering the structure of the Barajas airport the plane did not make it to a finger. So, no chance for paxs to get out. Besides. All they tell you is that mechanics have to check something if that, they will never tell you the problem is easy or dangerous...so you'll never know. They will always minimize the issue...
