Question:

Getting out of a game of golf?

What should I say to get out of a game of golf with my friends. I accidentally told my friend I would play while I wasn't sober (Neither of us were). I can't say the honest thing because I've said that twice already to them on different occasions and they'll just think i'm ditching them. But I really just don't want to pay 50$ for a game of golf, that I don't even like that much! (I've used that excuse to)

  1. Tell them you can't make it because your car got toed away, the directions were in the car so now you don't know how to get there. Ha Ha.

    Have a good one...

  2. Maybe you should be more careful when you get drunk. That's how accidents happen.

All too often people will not take responsibility for their actions when they imbibe.

Just fork out the dough and play!

  3. Just apologise and wear a bandage on your left wrist.

  4. This may be one of those times that the price of friendship may be worth 50.00  or not.....Its choice time dude......

  5. Tell them"I've never bet to play golf while drunk. You must have been really asleep or tipsy to think up a stupid thing like that. Ha!"

Or just tell them the "truth" if you have to.

  6. if you really don't want to be honest with them, just tell them that your neck hurts or something along those lines. it might work, but honesty is best.

  7. Dude,

    Just be honest with them.

Tell them that your dog just died, and you need to pick out a burial plot.

  8. You lost your balls?

  9. Tell them you broke your golfing hand, works everytime.

  10. The truth wouldn't hurt. Perhaps the drinking part of the friendship is mixing you up. If you have already ditched them twice you have created a situation which is of your making and our lies shouldn't get you out of trouble.
