Getting over my fear of fog??

About 3 years ago my friends and I were going to Yosemite in the dead of the night, on a really thin mountain road. All of the sudden, there was this EXTREMELY HEAVY fog. You couldnt see ANYWHERE, but every few minutes or so, you coulde see for a couple of seconds. We couldnt see where we were going so we went SUPER slow. We were on the edge of the cliff, and some rocks tumbled and the car almost slipped to its death 5,000 feet down or so. It took like 500 times longer to get away from the fog than it would take on a regular day. So, of course im scared to death of fog, and i live near the coast so its very common. And just last weekend, i was on another mountain road and there was fog, but it was very light, and I still was shaking and sweating like crazy! How can I get over this?

Please help! its a HUMUNGO problem for me, you have no idea!

:( Thanx..!

  1. when you are driving in fog you have to keep up your guard so you are ready for such emergency.i have over 1 million safe driving miles behind the wheel of an 18 wheeler an i still hate to drive into the fog, because you don't know if some one has stopped in the middle of the road or in your case falling rocks, because of the low visibility, but if you slow down to where you can stop safely and keep your low beams on you should do fine remember you can't drive the speed limit in bad weather is very unsafe.

  2. This is a phobia and it can be called either Homichlophobia or Nebulaphobia and you can either talk with a doctor to help you or you can work it out slowly with time and patience..........
