What gauge wire should i be using running from the battery, and what gauge should I be using to run to each amp? Also what kind of distribution block should I use? Here's a list of different blocks to choose from http://www.crutchfield.com/g_715/Power-Distribution-Hardware.html?tp=3001

  1. If you're changing from a large wire input to smaller wire outputs at the distribution block, then you should pick a fused block.  Wires should be fused any time they're reduced in size.

As for the size of the wires, that depends on the number of amps you're going to be running, and their power requirements.

You can get away with 4-gauge wire from the battery to the d-block, and 8-gauge wire from the block to the amps; but if you use 2-gauge or 1/0 wire splitting to 4-gauge outputs, then you'll be ready if you ever decide to upgrade to more powerful amps.  Either way, that block should work fine.

  2. That block would be fine, you will need 8 gauge wire to the amps. No need for bigger wire.

  3. The gauge size depends on the amount of power the amps require.
