How long did it take you to get pregnant after you stopped taking the pill? Were you on it for an extended period of time (over 10 years) or were you on it only a short time?

  1. I was on the pill for about ten years, and went off of them three months ago.  I had my first positive result using Clearblue Easy Digital Ovulation testers after three months after stopping the pill.  I read that it's VERY unlikely to get pregnant less than three months after discontinuing the pill.

If you've been on the pill for a long time, I would recommend the Clearblue Easy Digital Ovulation tests to get to know your natural cycle better...maybe start using them after you've been off the pill a month or two, so your body can re-regulate itself.

  2. I was on the pill for 12 years and went off in January and was pregnant in April. They say it takes around 2 months for it to leave your system. For me it was exactly that. Good Luck.

  3. I was on the pill for almost 12 years, this is only my second month off of it and although it didn't happen in the first month I know it will happen when it's my time.

  4. my cousin stopped taking her bc in november concieved in december and gave birth to a beautiful baby boy yesterdaY!!!!!!!!!

she was on the pill for over a year!

  5. Well most of the time it's depending on the person because once you stop taking birth control your period is not how it was before you started taking birth control so once your period starts to flow as it was before then your ovulating  will be as it was so it shouldn't take you that long but if you want you can buy some ovulating test from the store or you can go to march of dimes.com an press on the ovulation couculator and see when is the next two days your ovulating

  6. I was on birth control for 5 years.  Once I quit bc last October I wasn't conceiving and in June I found out I have PCOS.  So I'm still trying to conceive, but I'm starting my first fertility meds in 2 weeks and I have a good feeling about it!  Good Luck and best wishes ttc!!!  :o)
