  1. Yes, there are particular days of a woman's cycle where she cannot get pregnant, days where she is less likely to get pregnant, and a number of days where she is likely to get pregnant.

Ovulation is the releasing of an egg from the woman's ovaries, which then travels down the fallopian tubes towards the uterus. The egg survives for around 24 hours, and so in order to get pregnant, sperm must fertilize the egg at this crucial time. This means you must have s*x during ovulation, or before ovulation (sperm can survive up to 5 days) in order to get pregnant.

Ovulation happens about 14 days before your menstrual period, so if a woman has a very regular cycle, she should be able to 'safely' have s*x both just before and just after her period.

However, most women do not have such a regular cycle, and ovulation can occur at different times for different women, and spontaneous ovulation has also been known to occur. So it is always a good idea to use protection, no matter what part of your menstrual cycle you are at (even if you are on your period), unless you want to risk becoming pregnant.

  2. I think it's before your period. But idk for sure there was girl who talking about it on here like a week ago.

  3. Yes.  Its called the Billings method.  google it.

  4. Ovulation is when your ovary releases an egg to be fertilized. Some women track the cycle using basal body temperature, cervical mucus, cervical position, etc., but it's not terrible reliable and you'd have to learn a lot about it and practice it for some time before you could even try to predict ovulation. You can get pregnant during ovulation or several days after or before. However, since no one really knows for sure when they ovulate, there's a chance for pregnancy any time you have s*x, there's no "safe" time.
