I have done lots of comparison on the routers..looks like Lynx is good..however there are several types..ie: n, g, types.

here is my problem. Desktop is upstairs, and hence so will be my Router. I intend on adding my laptop to my house set-up and want to use my laptop downstairs, which is quite far. how many ft? I don't know for sure.

I have a hallway, 15 stairs, another 3 stairs, wala, I am downstairs...!

Now I know these routers are losing signal at 150 ft.max.

what to do..other than put the router high, and by the window?

any help here, before I buy it, & hire someone to find out, it's not gonna work!!!!

    you can even purchase it.
