is there a simple way, other than using plants to get rid of CO2, even small amounts. Just looking into ways to make small changes to the environment.

  1. You could open a window.  Air is free you know, and no, it wont cause cancer.  For a small change you could open the window slightly.  How much the widow is to be opened depends on the wind.  For a larger change you could possibly open it wider.  Wasting electricity to power a fan in front of a window is also a happy alternative if wind supply is not sufficient.  The downside is that the atmosphere contains carbon dioxide naturally, and when we exhale, CO2 is leaving our lungs.  This can of course lead to deadly(!) levels if adequate oxygen or ventilation is not present. *~Hope this helps!~* XOXOX <3!~~

  2. Well you could put containers of water all over your house and rely on CO2 solubility in water to form carbonic acid. But really, I don't know why you would have so much CO2, as the electricity you get it produced miles away. There won't be much change in your footprint by eliminating such small amounts of CO2.

  3. some hings like sodium hydroxide (lye) or calcium oxide (lime) convert CO2 to carbonates but considering the net effect including the chemical manufacture I doubt that there would be any less CO2 overall
