Getting rid of Car Kit on phone Screen?

Question

I got my phone wet and have been able to dry

it enough to turn it on and use it, but it

says searching for service and when it get

service it says Car kit. I have service in

my area because the otherphones in my plan

have service.How can i fix the Car Kit?

My phone wont make any noise and is on high.

Maybe the bluetooth is enabled, disable it. Or either it searches for a headset. I think the port for headset was affected or some sort of short-circuited because the "car kit" means "a headset" either wired or wireless. So if your phone has bluetooth feature, try to turn it off. And also find out if the port for headset is completely dry inside and out... no water or moist whatsoever.

To get rid of "car kit" I took a piece of sharp metal and <u>gently<u> cleaned out the charger port.  Time will fix the speaker problem.  I don't know why it says "searching for service"
