  1. I had a really bad one and it hurt every time I blinked.

Put a hot tea bag on your eye and hold it there massage it a little.

You can also go to the doctors and get perscretion medication (I had a had a lotion I had to put on the inside of my eye. Also DO NOT touch your eye with your hands it will cause it to get more infected. I would go see a doctor befpre it gets any worse because my friend had to get hers surgically removed but dont worry those are only in extreme cases.

  2. moist warm cloth several times a day.

  3. KEEP hot compresses over the stye. there is some medication you can get at a pharmacy that is like a paste. ask your local pharmacist. but the hot compresses will give you relief. wet a hot rag and apply to eye

  4. A stye is actually caused by a bacteria, an infection, and you may need antibiotics to treat it, but sometimes it will go away on its own.  Soften the stye by applying a hot, moist compress several times a day for at lease 10 minutes at a time.

Whenever you are treating a stye, be very careful and resist the urge to pop or squeeze it! Do not rub your eyes because you can easily spread the infection to your other eye - that is unless you want a matching sett.  If your stye does not go away within a week see your doctor about getting antibiotics.
