I never had ants in the house until the a/c was put in....why is that? There is no food or anything like that around where they are...the ants actually put holes in the baseboards!!!! 3 holes by these friggin ants!

How can i get rid of them for good so they won't put holes in the baseboards again?

  1. Are they big carpenter ants?If so get an exterminator.Could just be coincidence with the a/c.If they are smaller sweet eating ants get Terro liquid ant bait ,the stuff works great.

  2. small ants getting through a baseboard usually indicates wood rot from water damage or termite damage...  curious to know if the abdomen of your ants are pointed (sort of looks like a chicken heart) ... ants don't have the ability to eat solid foods so hard for them to explode or just die after "eating" corn meal..grits..malt-o meal, etc.

  3. Place some cornmeal around......they cannot digest it and they will die.
