My dad just had the wooden floors of my house redone and my shoe put two black streaks into it. I need them out, is there an easy way to remove them with house tools or something without damaging the floor?

  1. use a mild detergent That way you can see the real tough marks. you can dry a pencil eraser or a little WD-40 on a paper towel

  2. mr clean magic eraser.you can buy them at your local supermarket in the cleaning isle just wet the sponge and wipe.

  3. Try "erasing" them with the sole of a white sneaker.

  4. use lighter fluid.

  5. take a towel, hold one end rub the other end on black mark with your foot, it will come right off,

  6. Goo-gone on a paper towel, if you have it.  Be very gentle, if the finish is less than a month old, it's not fully cured.
