  1. Check your phone book for a resale/consignment shop in your area.  Some will buy your clothes up front.  Others pay you as the clothes are sold.  Each shop has their own way of handling the pricing and payout.

  2. Yard sale

    1st=(a week or so before) find a couple of friends/family who want to do it to

    2nd= you and your friends/family can make signs that say DATE,TIME,WHERE,WHAT STUFF IS FOR SALE

    3d=the day before make sure you have everything to put out. And do pricing for stuff (dont do 2 expencive)

    4th= On the day you and Co go out and place your things in the right areas (if you want you could make a big sign that says yard sale here)

    5th=Have fun earn some cash

    (also if you have some stuff that didnt sell you could give it to charity)

  3. Consignment shops are good, but they will usually only take clothes in fashion. I tried bringing brand new wool dress pants from Express, but they were 2 years old, and they gave me $4 for them.  If the clothes are in good shape, list them on Ebay or Craigslist.  Those are especially great for selling old prom dresses and jeans.
